Invite-only beta · Founders shaping it in Discord

The operating plan for your company.Change one thing. See everything it moves.

Foundiry is built for the two-to-ten-person B2B team that already has revenue, doesn’t have a finance function yet, and expects to raise in the next six to twelve months. Enter the plan once — the round, the burn, the hires — and move one assumption to watch what it actually touches: pipeline, payroll, the next milestone, the day you have to start raising.

Goal: raise a $2M seed, targeting June 2027

You push the AE hire from Jan 2027 to Jun 2027. The leads you can work without them drop from 20 to 13 a month — everything downstream recalculates.

New customers a month4 → 2.61.4 fewer
Payroll a month$60,000 → $20,000$40,000 less
$35k MRRFeb 2027 → May 202713 weeks later
Ready for the roundFeb 2027 → May 202713 weeks later
Start raising byDec 2026 → Feb 20279 weeks later
Cash buffer at the raise12.2 mo → 10.3 mo2.0 months less

Net effect: five months of payroll back, a raise that starts nine weeks later, and two fewer months of cash cushion once it begins.

01/Who it’s for

Built for the six to twelve months before you raise

Two to ten people. Real customers, no finance function. If that’s not you yet, Foundiry will still be here — this is who it’s built for right now.

You have revenue, not a finance team

Paying customers and a spreadsheet, and nobody whose job is turning “we should raise soon” into an actual date. That’s what the plan does instead.

You’re raising in the next six to twelve months

Not this quarter, not “eventually.” You need to know what has to be true before the first conversation, and how much runway that leaves once the round is done.

Every hire is a plan decision

The next hire moves a date — pipeline, a milestone, when you have to start raising. See what it does before you make the offer, not after.

02/The loop

Set the goal once, then keep the plan honest every month

Your round has an amount and a date. Everything between here and it — revenue, hiring, cash, the milestones you have to clear — follows from that, and from the numbers you actually record. When reality disagrees with the plan, Foundiry tells you what that costs and what it moves.

  1. 01

    Set the goal

The round: amount, type, target close. Foundiry works backward from it — nothing here is a template.

  2. 02

    Get the plan

Revenue, hiring, cash and the milestones between here and the raise, computed from what you’ve entered — and what’s missing, named plainly.

  3. 03

    Check in monthly

A handful of numbers — cash, revenue, customers. Each one sits beside what the plan expected, so you see exactly where reality disagrees with it.

  4. 04

    See what moved

A missed number or a changed assumption becomes a list of consequences. Accept the new date, or keep the one you had — nothing rewrites itself without you.

Nothing rewrites itself. Foundiry proposes; you accept the new date or keep the one you had.

03/The answers you actually need

Every plan looks the same until you ask it a real question

“Write me a business plan” gets you a document. These are the questions that decide whether the company works.

How much should we raise, and by when?
Computed backward from your burn, your target close and a safety buffer — not a round size you heard was normal for your stage.
When do we actually have to start fundraising?
The date your cash and your raise timeline force. It’s shown unconditionally, regardless of how healthy everything else looks — it’s the one date you can’t get back once it passes.
What happens if I push back a hire, or miss a month?
Every date downstream recalculates, and you see the whole chain — what changed, what it moved, and what it left alone.
What if I don’t agree with what changed?
Accept the new date, or keep the one you had. Nothing in the plan rewrites itself without you saying so.

04/Investors

Stop digging through Drive for the deck that’s actually current

Your deck, your one-pager, your traction numbers and your sales figures all come off the same record. Commit an update once and every one of them is current. When an investor asks, you send a link instead of spending an evening rebuilding a slide you already made.

  • One link, scoped to the sections you chose — expires when you say, revoked the moment you want
  • They see the newest version, not the PDF you emailed in March
  • You see when it was opened and how often
How sharing works →

And from the other side of the table

Investors get a real picture instead of a polished one: the plan, the numbers behind it, and what changed since last time. That’s the point of the whole thing. Less time performing, more time building.

05/Help, not just software

The stuff nobody tells you until it’s too late

Software organises what you already know. Most of what a first-time founder is missing is the thing they didn’t know to ask.

Free credits and programs you qualify for

Cloud credits, compute credits, accelerators, tooling discounts. Matched against your actual company facts by a rule, not by a model guessing at names. If we haven’t verified a program’s terms recently, it says so on the card.

Built on what you ask for

The feature list gets decided by the founders using it and the partners we bring in. If what you need isn’t here, say so in the Discord and it goes on the list.

Ask anything. Half of what’s here started as somebody’s complaint.

06/Inside

The loop is the product. This is everything it feeds.

Enter a fact once. Every screen reads it from the same place, so two of them can never disagree about the same number. Change it and the rest either recalculate or tell you they’ve gone stale. You do not have to visit any of these — the plan pulls from them whether you open them or not.

  1. 01

    Company profile

Everything about your company in one record, versioned, so nothing is overwritten.

  2. 02

    Roadmap & check-ins

Milestones, tasks and owners underneath the plan, plus a monthly check-in that keeps it honest.

  3. 03

    Finance & runway

Burn, runway, what a hire costs you in months, and the date the plan says you have to start raising.

  4. 04

    Sales & discovery

A light CRM that keeps talking to customers separate from selling to them.

  5. 05

    Hiring plan

Headcount planned against the milestone it unblocks and the runway you actually have.

  6. 06

    Decks & one-pagers

Built from the record as structured sections. Versioned, and you can lock what you’ve polished.

  7. 07

    Investors & data room

Scoped, expiring, revocable links, with a log of who opened what.

  8. 08

    Programs & credits

Curated cloud, compute and accelerator programs matched to your company.

  9. 09

    Usage & controls

Where everything went, who did what, and a kill switch that works.

…and the engine underneath them, working out what each change made stale.

08/What it costs

Planning is free. You pay when a model writes something for you.

Building your roadmap, tracking runway, planning hires and sharing with investors cost nothing and need no card. What costs money is AI-generated work, because a provider bills us every time one runs. You see the price on the button before you press it, and a failed job gives the credits back.

See exactly what costs what →

09/How we use AI

We use AI. Here is exactly where, and where we don’t.

Plenty of products say “AI-powered” and leave you guessing which numbers a model made up. This one draws the line in the architecture, so we can tell you.

i

Most of what you see is arithmetic

Runway, burn, milestone dates, dependency chains, what a hire costs you in months — all pure calculation from the figures you entered. Deterministic, repeatable, free, and no model is involved at any point.

ii

A model only writes prose

Drafting a section, rewriting a deck, research with citations. Every one of these is a draft for you to check, is priced before it runs, and never happens without you pressing a button that shows the price.

iii

Your company data does not train anything

Only the context a specific approved action needs reaches a provider, under terms that prohibit training on it. Files you upload are read once to pull out facts you then confirm — never scored, and your idea is never evaluated.

10/Questions

The things founders ask first

No — that’s who this is for. Most founders at your stage are running on a spreadsheet and a feeling, and the gap is not effort, it’s that nothing connects a hiring date to a runway to a raise. Answer the questions you can, skip the ones you can’t, and every gap is named rather than quietly guessed past.

The plan mechanics — the dates, the propagation, the consequence chain — are built around a raise right now, so if you’re not raising in the next six to twelve months there won’t be much for them to compute yet. The rest of the product — roadmap, finance tracking, hiring, sales — still works on its own.

No. Document extraction is not yet available, so the way in today is the guided questions — short, skippable, and it gets you to a real source of truth in minutes, not hours. Upload is coming; when it ships, you confirm every field before anything is saved, the same as everything else here.

Only the sections you picked, through a link that expires and that you can kill instantly. Downloads are off unless you turn them on, and you can see when it was opened. Investor and viewer seats are never billable.

No. Nothing charges you without you pressing a button that has the price on it. The price you see is the ceiling, not an average. If a job fails you get the credits back, and if we genuinely can’t tell whether it ran, it’s held for review rather than charged.

No. Only the context an action needs gets sent to a provider, and nothing you write is used as training data.

No. We ask about your company, your stage, your team and your customers — never how the product is built. Share whatever you’re comfortable with and leave the rest blank; nothing is required beyond what gets you to the next milestone.

No. Document extraction is not yet available, so nothing you upload is read automatically, scored, or used to evaluate your idea — it sits in private storage until you fill in the details yourself through the guided questions. When extraction ships, you will confirm every field it produces before anything is saved.

No. The plan is the front door; roadmap, finance, sales, hiring, decks, investors, programs all read the same company record, but you only ever open the ones useful to you. Skip whatever doesn’t fit your business.

Only your team, by default. Every record is locked to your company, so another workspace can’t read it, even by accident, and nothing you write is used to train a model. Investors see only the sections you explicitly choose to share, through a link you can revoke at any time.

No. The plan, the roadmap, runway, hiring plan and investor sharing are free, with no card on file. The only thing that costs credits is asking a model to generate or rewrite something for you, and you see that price before you press the button.

No email required. Open your billing page any time and cancel through Stripe’s own portal — you keep paid access until the period ends, then the workspace drops to Free. Nothing is deleted, and everything you built stays yours to export.

07/Founders

Ten founders we invented. The product they describe is real.

Foundiry is in invite-only beta, so there are no customers to quote yet — and we would rather invent founders honestly than fake real ones. Every card below describes something the product actually does today. When founders using Foundiry leave their own words, those appear here first, marked as what they are.

“I’d been “about to start” for a year. The plan ended the excuse — talking to people who have the problem was milestone one, not building. So I finally did the talking.”

Maya Okonkwo, Solo founder, FieldnoteIllustrative

“We’d argued about the raise for weeks. Watching the date fall out of our own plan ended it — neither of us picked it, so neither of us could be wrong.”

Daniel Reyes, Cofounder, HarborlightIllustrative

“Every planned hire now points at the milestone it unblocks. When the board asks why a role exists, I show them what it does to the date — and to the runway.”

Sofia Lindqvist, CEO, Meridian LabsIllustrative

“I moved a hire back a quarter expecting to just save the payroll. Instead I watched the raise date move with it, which is the conversation I actually needed to have.”

Tomás Ferreira, Founder, KilnwareIllustrative

“Investor updates used to eat a weekend. Now it’s one link that’s always current — and I can see when it was actually opened.”

Amara Diallo, Founder, StaticeIllustrative

“The monthly check-in is a handful of blunt numbers. The plan stopped being a document we wrote once and became something that reacts to what actually happened.”

Jonah Kim, Cofounder, DriftlessIllustrative

“It matched us to cloud-credit programs by rule, and said plainly which terms it hadn’t verified recently. That honesty is why I trust the rest of it.”

Lena Hartmann, CTO, BrambleIllustrative

“Every AI action has its price on the button, and a failed run gives the credits back. Moving a date around the actual plan costs nothing at all.”

Ravi Menon, Founder, CopperlineIllustrative

“Our deck and our one-pager read from the same record, so they can’t disagree. I stopped proofreading numbers against each other the week we moved in.”

Grace Adeyemi, Cofounder, NorthloopIllustrative

“It marks what I haven’t filled in instead of guessing past it. An honest gap turned out to be worth more than a confident wrong answer.”

Oskar Novák, Solo founder, PinewireIllustrative
